As some of you may already know, I’ve been guiding for trout and steelhead since 2000 in some of the best southern Ontario rivers.

I was one of the first full-time guides in the area to use and teach Euro nymphing methods.

In 2024, I’m opening up select guide dates for trout from May 1st to October 1st, but space is limited. Trout fishing can be fantastic all summer if you know where to go and how to fish them.

My specialty is targeting and catching trophy brown trout, and my unique perspectives and methods have allowed me to constantly catch multiple trophy-sized brown trout a day.

Ontario, and my area, has plenty of browns that are 20 inches and bigger, and I can teach you the methods required to catch these beauties.

Some of my clients catch 3 or 4 brown trout over 20 inches in a few hours, but with luck and skill, some of my clients are hooking over 10 trophy-sized brown trout a day.

Rainbows up to 25 inches and brook trout up to 20 inches are also available.

I guide some of the best brown trout rivers and creeks in the area, including:

  • Grand River
  • Credit River
  • Nottawasaga Tributaries
  • Saugeen Tributaries.
