I have been jig fishing for salmon in rivers for about 37 years, and as a fishing guide, I’ve seen what works and what doesn’t work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jig fishing for salmon can mean casting and twitching larger jigs through deep pools, pockets, and riffles. It can also mean drifting small jigs under a float the same way you would drift a spawn bag or a bead. Both ways work well.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
